12 years shaping how brands look, move, and communicate.
Blindage
Founder & Senior Creative Director
Global (Africa, Europe, Americas)
November 2019 – May 2025
I founded Blindage in 2019 and ran it for five years as both creative lead and business operator. I directed brand strategy, creative process, and client relationships while building a team of designers, developers, and collaborators. We worked across fashion, hospitality, technology, and consumer brands in four continents.
What I led:
50+ brand identities. I built visual systems — logos, typography, color, imagery — that worked across cultures and channels. Every identity started with strategy. Every system was designed to scale.
20+ advertising campaigns. I directed concepts and execution across print, digital, social, experiential, and out of home. The work generated 1M+ impressions and elevated market positioning for clients who needed to own their category.
10+ packaging programs. I led material innovation, structural design, vendor coordination, and quality assurance. Packaging became the stage where brand intention met customer experience.
Photographic art direction. I directed product, lifestyle, and commercial shoots. I oversaw retouching and post-production to guarantee visual consistency across all touchpoints.
Motion graphics and video. I created launch films, social content, and presentation narratives using Premiere Pro and After Effects. The work moved like stories, not ads.
Design systems and governance. I built frameworks in Figma and Adobe that reduced revision cycles 40% and enabled seamless collaboration across teams and geographies.
AI integration. I pioneered MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, and Runway into our workflows, accelerating concept development 30% while expanding creative possibility.
Budget and production leadership. I directed creative budgets from 10K to 150K, partnering with production houses to deliver on accelerated timelines without compromising craft.
In 2025, I closed the client service business and transitioned Blindage into a creative platform run by a wider community.
Medesigning
Graphic Designer & Art Director
Windhoek, Namibia
January 2018 – October 2019
I led 15+ integrated campaigns across print, digital, motion, and experiential.
I directed the creative from concept to execution, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring every channel worked toward the same idea.
I led packaging innovation from early concepts through vendor production. Structure, materials, and visual identity had to work together.
I directed product and lifestyle photography: art direction, composition, and post-production that met gallery level standards.
I created motion graphics for campaigns and social media using Premiere Pro and After Effects.
DMV Creatives
Graphic Designer
Luanda, Angola
August 2013 – October 2017
I executed 200+ brand projects for multinational clients: packaging, editorial layouts, environmental graphics, digital systems.
I developed visual languages that stayed coherent across print, digital, and physical space. Early work that taught me how systems hold.
What I bring
Creative direction rooted in strategy. I start with the problem, not the visual.
Systems thinking. I design frameworks that scale, not one-offs that need constant supervision.
Cross-discipline fluency. I move between brand, motion, packaging, editorial, and digital without losing the thread.
Team leadership. I’ve built, directed, and mentored teams. I balance protecting the vision with giving people ownership.
Production confidence. I’ve managed complex budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines. I know how to deliver under pressure without sacrificing craft.
Cultural range. I’ve worked across African, European, and American markets. I understand how identity shifts across contexts.
AI integration. I use MidJourney, Firefly, and Runway as tools for thinking, not shortcuts. They accelerate concept development while keeping authorship intact.
My Tools Kit
I wrote and illustrated comic and manga books and sold them to classmates. I picked up photography, drew on PowerPoint, and made entire layouts with Word fonts before I ever touched design tools.
In 2011, a friend introduced me to PhotoDraw. That was the spark. I started designing posters for house parties and school events. A year later, I discovered Photoshop. That changed everything. While studying, I worked in several creative studios. Then I started my own branding firm, which I ran for five years, including through the pandemic.
What drives me hasn’t changed. I want to create to make things better. To bring form to feeling. To shape beauty that connects and moves people. I still believe I was born to beautify the world in my image. And I carry that belief into everything I do.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom), Figma for systems and prototyping Webflow, HTML, CSS for webm, AI tools (MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway ML), PowerPoint for narrative driven presentations, Cinema 4D and Blender basics
